Driving directions from O’Hare International Airport: Head east on I-190. Take I-294 N/I-90 W toward Milwaukee. Continue north on I-294. Exit at Dempster St east. Take Dempster St to Sherman Ave and turn left. The street will split; bear right onto Orrington Ave and proceed to the hotel on the left.
Chicago Midway Airport (MDW): Approximate driving time to Hotel Orrington is 50 minutes and distance is 24 miles.
Driving directions from Chicago Midway Airport: Head north on SR-50/S Cicero Ave. Continue to I-55 and head northbound. I-55 merges with Lake Shore Dr. Continue on Lake Shore Dr to the end. Turn right onto Sheridan Rd. Follow the Sheridan Rd signs into Evanston. Once in Evanston, turn right onto Dempster St. Take Dempster St to Sherman Ave. Turn right onto Sherman Ave. The street will split; bear right onto Orrington Ave and proceed to the hotel on the left.
Getting there: Taxis are the most convenient ways to reach the hotel. Using the hotel's recommended service through American Taxi, the fee is $26–$35 from O'Hare and more than $36 from Midway. Getting around: Northwestern University, Lake Michigan, and many shops, restaurants, and entertainment options are located within walking distance. For longer distances, taxis and rental cars are convenient in the Evanston area. Rental cars are available online. To get to downtown Chicago, visitors may walk two blocks to public transportation; for less than $5, they take the purple line to Howard, transfer to the red line, and proceed downtown.
